Description
Removing EDC (Electronic Damper Control) via coding on a BMW – especially for track or race builds can offer several practical benefits.
- Faults in the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) or instrument cluster
- When you replace the factory EDC suspension with Coilovers (e.g., Nitron, KW, Öhlins, AST)
- Track-optimized non-EDC dampers
Coding out EDC cleanly tells the vehicle it’s no longer present – eliminating these issues. The result is a your vehicle behaves as if it was factory-built without EDC – a clean, integrated change, not a workaround.
Note: Vehicle coding is performed in our facility in Anaheim, CA. Not available for home or remote-based flashing.
