Description
The Chaya Melrose Series is the entry-level Melrose model. Suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced skaters the Melrose series rollerskates are great for learning both rhythmic and jam styles of skating, or for cruising the streets.
The vegan-friendly PU leather upper is firm around the ankle and soft along the front covering. Chaya intends that the upper provides simultaneous support and comfort. The boot opening is moderately sized, neither broad nor narrow and fit most foot shapes well with a soft footbed for additional shock absorption.
The glass-fibre reinforced plastic plates keep the weight low. 88a medium height cushions provide fluidity with the truck angled at 10°, better suited for less advanced skaters providing more control.
The replaceable toe stop is screwed in and fixed to position and will give less advanced skaters comfort and a sense of safety whilst learning their practice.
61mm 78a wheels provide enough grip and durability to handle most environments and are well suited for outdoor skating, because of the extra grip (though will be perfectly fine indoors). Abec 7 bearings finish the skate for a smooth and consistent ride.
